As a Production Planner, your role encompasses identifying and executing process enhancements to streamline operations and minimize waste. You will collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure that customer demands are met and orders are processed in a timely manner. This position necessitates outstanding organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and robust communication skills to effectively lead and inspire teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting production supervisors and managers in planning and coordinating manufacturing tasks to achieve production goals.
  • Ensuring the availability of materials and supplies for production by liaising with purchasing and inventory teams.
  • Monitoring production expenses and pinpointing opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
  • Collaborating with maintenance teams to guarantee that equipment is operational, thereby reducing downtime.
  • Organizing training and development programs for production personnel to boost skill levels and productivity.
  • Upholding compliance with safety standards and protocols to foster a secure working environment for production staff.
  • Maintaining documentation and records of production activities for future reference and evaluation.
  • Working alongside quality assurance team members to confirm that finished products adhere to established specifications and standards.
  • Engaging in continuous improvement efforts and proposing process enhancements to elevate production efficiency and product quality.
  • Undertaking any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in a role such as production supervisor or lead.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with specific software applications utilized in manufacturing.
