Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at Intermountain Health American Fork Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations under the direction of a physician to aid in patient diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and preparation for exams.
  • Utilize proper imaging techniques to deliver timely, safe, and high-quality diagnostic exams.
  • Perform exams on patients of all ages, adhering to ACR guidelines and protocols.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with clinical equipment and maintain a current QC program.
  • Complete and annotate exams, following ACR guidelines, and accurately document all required information.
Requirements
  • ARRT Registry or ARDMS Registry, including successful completion of one registry pertinent to the department beyond physics.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
  • Ultrasound experience is preferred.
