Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL B Driver to join our team at Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co., Inc. in Columbus, OH.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload delivery vehicles at the distribution center and delivery sites within a designated territory.
  • Maintain daily truck inspections and trip reports as required by the Department of Transportation.
  • Operate vehicles in compliance with all Department of Transportation and Reliable safety requirements.
  • Operate forklifts, lift trucks, side loaders, pallet trucks, and other loading/stacking equipment.
  • Complete and maintain daily forklift inspection reports.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and logs.
  • Chock tires when loading and unloading trucks.
  • Assist Will-Call customers in a courteous and helpful manner.
  • Report any deficiencies in inventory, equipment, safety issues, or concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Report backorders to the Customer Service Department.
  • Act as a backup and/or fill-in Material Handler as needed.
  • Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment, and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 1+ years of warehouse and/or delivery driving experience.
