Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL B Driver to join our team at Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co., Inc. in Columbus, OH. As a key member of our distribution center, you will be responsible for loading and unloading delivery vehicles, maintaining daily truck inspections, and operating vehicles in compliance with DOT and Reliable safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trucks in accordance with DOT Load Securement requirements
  • Maintain daily truck inspection and daily trip reports as required by USDOT
  • Operate vehicles in compliance with all DOT and Reliable safety requirements
  • Operate forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker, and other loading/stacking equipment
  • Complete and maintain daily forklift inspection reports
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and logs
  • Chock tires when loading and unloading trucks
  • Assist Will-Call customers in a courteous and helpful manner
  • Report any deficiencies in inventory, equipment, safety issues, or concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor
  • Report backorders to the Customer Service Department
  • Act as backup and/or fill-in Material Handler as needed
  • Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment, and use of appropriate personal protective equipment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ years of warehouse and/or delivery driving experience
Benefits

  • 401k with company match is available 1st of the month after 90 days of employment
  • Company-provided Life Insurance is provided for you 1st of the month after 90 days of employment
