Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team As a Restaurant Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant. You will be the face of MOD Pizza, embodying our values and ensuring that every guest has a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate MOD values and behaviors, and exemplify a service mindset through effective leadership.
- Create a Positive Vibe: Help create a MOD vibe that our customers expect, and coach your team to maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Coach and Develop: Demonstrate, train, and coach your team in all methods for accomplishing store tasks, and provide feedback to help them grow and improve.
- Operational Excellence: Demonstrate knowledge of all Operational Standards and resources, and partner with the General Manager to ensure the restaurant is running efficiently and effectively.
- Community Engagement: Partner with the General Manager to engage with the local community and build relationships with our customers and partners.
Requirements
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of 1 year of customer service or restaurant leadership experience.
- Coaching and Development: Experience successfully leading, coaching, training, and motivating front-line employees.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and act tactically.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and partners.
- Availability: Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
