Position Summary
Under close supervision, the individual will carry out a range of straightforward to moderately complex tasks by adhering to detailed work instructions that require minimal judgment and decision-making.Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and data tracking for feeders.
  • Educate employees on the operation and upkeep of machinery.
  • May assist in training and coordinating activities of Maintenance Assistants.

Additional Responsibilities May Include:
  • Diagnosing issues in malfunctioning electro-mechanical equipment utilized in the manufacturing process.
  • Dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and assembling equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals, or sketches.
  • Utilizing diagnostic tools to perform equipment checkouts.
  • Potentially working overtime as required.
  • Adhering to all company security policies and procedures.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Knowledge Requirements
  • Ability to acquire job skills and learn company policies to complete routine tasks.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Familiarity with basic and specialized hand tools and leveling instruments, as well as knowledge of torque specifications.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Understanding of electronic color codes and component value markings.
  • Awareness of safety practices and requirements.
  • Proficient in personal computer operation in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email).
  • Experience with specialized maintenance tracking software.

Education & Experience Requirements
  • Associate's degree in electronics with a focus on servo positioning theory or a related field.
  • Prior experience as a Maintenance Assistant may be considered.
  • Zero to two years of relevant work experience is required, preferably in a manufacturing environment with electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience may be acceptable.
