Job Title: X-Ray Technician with NDT Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled X-Ray Technician with expertise in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to join our team at ITW FEG LLC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work with industry-leading companies to capture internal and external geometry of their products using world-class mini focus, microfocus, and MeV Digital X-ray and CT (3D) imaging products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with customers to develop DR and CT techniques and perform imaging on customer-supplied products.
  • Direct oversight and approval of trainee and Level 1 OJT and technique approval.
  • Develop creative sample fixturing methods to increase efficiency of the digital x-ray imaging process and/or CT process.
  • Engage with clients and potential clients, providing technical expertise, delivering comprehensive reports, and conducting professional presentations to address client needs and demonstrate our solutions.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to quote projects and propose scanning solutions to meet and exceed customer requirements.
Requirements:
  • DR and CT Level 2 Certification (or equivalent training)
  • Minimum of 2+ years of microfocus imaging experience, 3 years overall
  • Strong understanding of X-ray principles and industry standards
  • Proficient in using the VG Software Suite, ensuring seamless operation and data analysis
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, understand their needs, and provide clear explanations of inspection results
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a high-performing team
  • Coupled with a neat and presentable appearance
  • Solid technical skills that allow you to troubleshoot and optimize equipment performance
