Note: This is a remote position, but candidates must be willing to travel to Holbrook, NY for initial training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely manner.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of general ledger accounts and execute reconciliations.
  • Manage financial documentation for subsidiaries, including evaluations of balance sheets and ledger accounts.
  • Ensure compliance of foreign financial statements with US GAAP standards.
  • Verify the classification of departmental transactions and general ledger accounts.
  • Reconcile both domestic and international bank accounts.
  • Generate recurring and adjusting journal entries.
  • Assist in variance analysis during the financial closing process.
  • Develop specialized reports and oversee projects to deliver financial insights as required.
  • Establish and uphold global accounting policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and maintain clear communication.
  • Exhibit a professional and positive demeanor while contributing to team efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience, including general ledger analysis, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, excellent organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Understanding of US GAAP standards and experience in aligning foreign financial statements.
  • Ability to reconcile both domestic and foreign bank accounts.
