Canine Daycare Professional

The Dog Stop Stuart (TDS-0040) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Canine Handler to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our canine clients. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who love animals and want to make a difference in their lives.

In this role, you will be responsible for caring for dogs in both daycare and boarding settings. This includes providing daily meals, administering medications, and monitoring their behavior and health. You will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the animals.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You should also be reliable, accountable, and able to lift 50 pounds or more and stand for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing daily care to dogs in daycare and boarding settings.
• Cleaning and maintaining the facilities, including the daycare rooms, kennels, and surrounding areas.
• Monitoring the behavior and health of the dogs and reporting any incidents or concerns to management.
• Administering medications and providing mental stimulation and enrichment activities for dogs in daycare.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; dog care experience preferred but not necessary.
