Key Responsibilities
The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in recruiting, mentoring, and guiding all store personnel while ensuring exceptional customer service, efficiently managing all retail functions, and upholding brand integrity. Formulate strategies and plans to meet critical performance metrics and financial objectives through business evaluation, action planning, effective communication, and consistent accountability. This role supports the Store Manager in various capacities and assumes all Primary Responsibilities in their absence.
Core Responsibilities
- 30% Brand Management: Provides oversight and supports the strategic planning of team members' daily objectives and activities to deliver an outstanding customer experience that maximizes sales and drives customer loyalty. Ensures adherence to brand standards, including merchandising, marketing, and dress code. Acts as the primary contact for resolving customer inquiries and concerns while analyzing store trends to anticipate customer needs.
- 30% Team Development: Engages, trains, and nurtures team members to achieve favorable outcomes. Utilizes internal recruitment platforms and actively seeks to build a robust network of external candidates to fill vacancies as needed. Identifies strengths and areas for improvement for each team member and addresses them through coaching or counseling. Maintains positive associate relations by resolving concerns and keeping the team informed of relevant company updates.
- 30% Operational Excellence: Ensures the execution of all company protocols through training, management, analysis, and continuous improvement. Oversees processes that support digital strategies such as Omni-channel fulfillment.
- 10% Safety and Loss Prevention: Guarantees a safe environment for both associates and customers by adhering to all policies and procedures. Responsible for safeguarding company assets by ensuring compliance with inventory and cash control measures. Analyzes available reporting and utilizes technology to ensure compliance with safety training and execution.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Preferred minimum of 3+ years in retail sales or customer service.
- At least 1+ year(s) of prior management experience preferred.
- Ability to lead or support a team to achieve business goals.
- Effective communication skills with team and management.
- Availability to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
- Cosmetology license is a plus, but not mandatory.
