Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team at Apex Healthcare. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
  • Operate advanced medical equipment, including A-lines, invasive lines, chest tubes, and patients requiring noninvasive and invasive ventilatory support.
  • Assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Act as a clinical leader and assist with precepting staff.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
Requirements
  • Current State of Montana RN Licensure.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • EPNC, TNCC certification preferred.
  • Experience in an advanced Medical-Surgical Unit and recent Critical Care or Progressive Care Nursing is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pediatric experience.
  • Basic office equipment skills.
