Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
  • Attend meetings and provide information on student progress
Requirements
  • A valid Texas State SLPA License is required
  • Prior school-based experience is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
