Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team at Viera Hospital Inc. in Viera, Florida. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Develop and maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal care delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of unit-based initiatives to improve patient care and satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote a culture of safety, respect, and inclusivity.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Florida RN licensure or endorsement.
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN highly preferred.
- Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card and any unit-specific certification(s).
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
This is a full-time position with a 7:00 pm - 7:00 am shift. You will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
