Position Overview:
We are a manufacturing organization seeking to employ a Full-Time Machine Shop Assistant. This role will also involve driving responsibilities.

Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 25 years
- Valid California Driver's License
- Clean driving record with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently perform tasks while adhering to all safety protocols
- Operate a flatbed stakebed and other company vehicles (Class C license required)
- Forklift operation (training provided, prior experience preferred)
- Maintain cleanliness in the machine shop and assist with basic maintenance
- Operate various machinery as required, including drill presses and band saws
- Cut and prepare raw materials for machinists according to a specified schedule
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to apply common sense to execute detailed written or verbal instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Capacity to regularly lift 45 pounds and/or move equipment exceeding 100 pounds (with assistance)

Compensation:
