About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. This is a night shift, 0.9 FTE position working on the 2 West Medical/Surgical unit with a mix of telemetry and medical/surgical patients.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality patient care to a diverse population. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab results and imaging studies
  • Prescribe medications and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education to patients and their families on disease management, self-care, and prevention strategies
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current RN licensure in Oregon
  • NP certification in Cardiology
  • 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a hospital setting
Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $139,875 - $222,375 per annum, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
