The Executive Director for Practice Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources, and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the financial management of the organization to maintain profitability and growth.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve organizational efficiency.
- Supervise company culture, policies, and procedures, including QA, accreditation, customer service, productivity, billing, and collection.
- Coordinate care with medical directors and staff to ensure efficient practice operations.
- Manage EMR and other software programs used in the organization.
- Ensure staff accountability for data accuracy and productivity.
- Recruit, onboard, and evaluate staff to build a high-performing team.
- Coordinate with other medical practices to grow the organization and onboard key MDs.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Track, monitor, and manage patient recordkeeping and prepare management reports.
- Work with EHR and RCM companies to resolve patient account discrepancies.
- Maintain a paperless document system.
- Assess and evaluate financial performance and create long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts.
- Review monthly financial reports and identify trends for improvement.
- Grow and expand payer contracts and relationships.
- Market and recruit referring providers in local markets.
- Problem-solve issues and produce positive outcomes.
- Oversee marketing efforts and ensure CRM is used for reporting.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of prior Physician Practice Management experience.
- Extensive knowledge in billing and collection.
- Prior knowledge of credentialing payer relationships is preferred.
- System implementation experience is strongly preferred.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence.
- Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel as needed.
- Courteous customer service skills.
- System proficiency in all software needed to manage the organization.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Positive influence on all employees.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and close the loop when interrupted.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to lead change.
- Ability to facilitate discussions to resolve conflicting processes.
- Able to demonstrate a high degree of passion and energy.
Physical Requirements:
The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. The employee is required to sit and stand. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Required to lift up to 50 lbs at one time.
Pay and Benefits:
$60k annually + incentives. Benefits include 401(k), 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
Relocation:
Relocate to Chattanooga, TN before starting work.
