Position Summary:
The Field Access Manager (FAM) plays a vital role within the Patient Support Services (PSS) team, utilizing strong analytical skills to enhance patient access and ensure an outstanding customer experience. The FAM serves as the field expert on access, reimbursement, and patient support services within their designated regions. This role involves collaboration with various internal stakeholders and acting as a resource for healthcare provider practices, health systems, and institutions to address patient access and reimbursement challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement market access strategies to optimize patient access; continuously evaluate strategies in response to evolving market conditions and payer landscapes.
- Educate healthcare providers and office staff on access, reimbursement, and payer policy updates to support independent clinical decisions regarding the use of company products.
- Proactively communicate and inform about SpringWorks' patient support programs, services, and resources available to healthcare providers and their teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute regional business plans that facilitate appropriate patient access.
- Work alongside the patient support program, specialty pharmacies, case managers, and other partners to resolve escalations and access issues for patients.
- Address and troubleshoot field account access and reimbursement challenges, needs, and concerns.
- Act as a liaison between customers, the patient services team, and payer account management to tackle payer access obstacles.
- Promote improvements in patient support and reimbursement processes.
- Develop localized solutions based on account and market insights, providing leadership with valuable market intelligence.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base to support all access and patient/payer support programs and resources.
- Utilize data analytics and market research to identify relevant trends and insights for market access.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices in all market access activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in rare diseases, oncology, or neurology is essential.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in patient journey navigation, payer relations, reimbursement, medical billing and coding, specialty pharmacy, or patient services.
- Demonstrated success in securing patient access.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory and compliance guidelines.
- Experience in product launches is required.
- Familiarity with patient-administered products (Part D, oral) is preferred.
- Experience in a collaborative, dynamic, and accountable work environment.
- Expertise in the US market access landscape with in-depth knowledge of recent policy changes and dynamics in rare diseases, oncology, and/or neurology.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable access strategies.
- Proficient knowledge of local payer, reimbursement, and patient access issues, with the capability to effectively communicate this knowledge to key stakeholders.

Location Classification – Remote:
This position is classified as working full-time from the employee's home office within the United States, with occasional travel to SpringWorks Therapeutics offices or other locations as business needs dictate.
Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this role is $185,000 – $200,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.
