Job Title: Site Superintendent

EnviroVantage is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the direct management of staff and subcontractors working on diverse environmental construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate onsite work and scheduling to meet budgets and project timelines
  • Conduct daily safety meetings, inspections, and mishap investigations, maintaining accurate OSHA logs
  • Ensure job completion in a safe and efficient manner, supervising and directing field crews and subcontractors
  • Implement project-specific work plans, manage labor and equipment time to achieve maximum productivity and meet budgets
  • Interface and communicate with clients in a professional manner, overseeing delivery and off-loading of supplies and materials
  • Complete daily field reports, maintaining accurate records and documentation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of related field experience, with experience with DOD, including USACE, NAVFAC, USAF, or USCG required
  • OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40 certification required, with ability to obtain within 30 days of hire if not current
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with Heavy Civil projects, including experience with demolition and asbestos abatement
  • Ability to manage and direct multiple crews with multiple pieces of heavy equipment, manage budgets and schedules
  • Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment, with torch cutting and rigging experience preferred but not required

Working Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to perform tasks involving bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using a force equal to lifting 50 to 100 pounds
  • Qualified candidate must be able to pass a physical examination by a medical professional for the anticipated work requirements
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain access to military bases across the United States
  • A valid driver's license is required, with a safe driving record as measured by company policy
