Job Summary:

The United States Postal Service is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the Mail Processing Specialist position. As a Mail Processing Specialist, you will play a critical role in the processing and sorting of mail, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to customers across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and process mail in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate mail processing equipment, including automated sorting machines and manual sorting systems
  • Ensure accurate and reliable delivery of mail to customers
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines
