About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented DME Orthotics Specialist to join our team at Raleigh Orthopaedic. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in dispensing DME and orthotics to our patients, while also assisting in our Orthotics and Pedorthics department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense DME and orthotics to patients as prescribed by our Raleigh Orthopaedic providers
  • Assist in managing and maintaining DME inventory across all clinic locations
  • Provide patient education on DME/Orthotics and serve as a point-of-contact for patient concerns and questions
  • Collect payments and process insurance claims for DME and orthotics
  • Assist in obtaining authorizations from insurances and/or Worker's Compensation, as required
Requirements
  • College-level coursework in Health Sciences or equivalent work experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
  • General knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Computer and iPad/Tablet proficiency
