Job Opportunity at Del Bianco Prosthetics and Orthotics

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a DME Fitter/Orthotist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting in the fabrication of prosthetic and orthotic devices.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare for patient visits by reviewing charts and notes, setting up medical equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Clean and maintain instruments and equipment after use.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries, providing accurate information and identifying visit needs.
  • Learn and assist in the fabrication of prosthetic and orthotic devices, including braces and prostheses.
  • Spent the majority of your time treating patients and fitting DME and foot orthotics.
Requirements
  • Basic understanding of anatomy, particularly lower limb and spine.
  • Artistic skills, especially in clay sculpture or fabrication/assembly of parts or models.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
