About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a key member of our decentralized nursing unit, you will provide administrative and technical support, collaborate with staff and leaders, and perform CNA II patient care duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and prioritize transcription of provider orders
  • Assemble and maintain patient charts, current forms, and results/reports
  • Communicate effectively with patients, public, and staff, serving as the hub of all communication for the unit
  • Provide front-line customer service and display professional interpersonal skills
Requirements
  • Coursework/Training and Health Unit Coordinator or secretarial coursework along with a medical terminology course or experience
  • Coursework/Training and Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course
  • Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Experience with a variety of software applications
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of Acute care hospital experience, ideally performing CNA and/or Health Unit Coordinator duties
  • 1 year of experience as a CNA 2
