Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising management on employee relations issues, including performance coaching and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Investigating and resolving employee complaints and concerns, including those related to employment regulations, workplace violence, and harassment.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with key constituencies, including management, occupational health, and corporate compliance.
  • Creating and implementing effective HR programs and policies to promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Contributing to corporate reorganizations and position reductions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of employee relations experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in handling employee relations issues, interpreting employment laws, and writing and implementing HR policies.
  • Knowledge of employment laws (EEO, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, FCRA) and human resources best practices.
  • Ability to interpret, analyze, and synthesize data and information.
  • Excellent project management, organization, and planning skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Successful track record in a bachelor's degree program or comparable experience.
  • Experience in financial services in a human resources role.
  • Experience advising on employee relations issues with exempt/senior roles.
