A typical day as a Personal Care Assistant includes:
- Engaging in meaningful conversations to foster relationships with clients
- Participating in clients' preferred activities and hobbies
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals for clients
- Assisting clients with daily tasks such as mobility, dressing, personal hygiene, and bathing
- Maintaining accurate records of completed tasks and providing updates on clients' health and behavior

Qualifications for the Personal Care Assistant position:
- Genuine passion for assisting others
- Strong customer service skills and effective communication with clients

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved PCA or CNA training program and ability to provide certification upon request
- Proof of tuberculosis screening
- Valid driving record
