A typical day as a Personal Care Assistant includes:

  • Engaging in meaningful conversations to foster relationships with clients
  • Participating in clients' preferred activities and hobbies
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals for clients
  • Assisting clients with daily tasks such as mobility, dressing, personal hygiene, and bathing

Qualifications for the Personal Care Assistant position:

  • Genuine passion for assisting others
  • Strong customer service skills and effective communication with clients

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a state-approved PCA or CNA training program and ability to provide certification upon request
  • Proof of tuberculosis screening
