Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items to order for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) to work efficiently in the kitchen during scheduled shifts.
• Maintain a positive and calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to ensure store operations run smoothly and set a positive example for other team members.
• Stay up-to-date on all menu information, promotions, merchandise, and advertisements to provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with new team member training by positively recognizing good performance and providing respectful coaching when needed.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and communicate any changes in team morale or performance to the General Manager.
• Adhere to Kizuki operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
• Regularly attend work on time and maintain punctuality to meet guest expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to speak, read, and write in English
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Quick learning ability and adaptability
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
• Ability to stand and walk for minimum 4 straight hours when needed
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to withstand heat, cold, and exposure to cleaning chemicals, smoke, fumes, and some airborne particles

Benefits:

We offer competitive compensation and benefits to our valued employees, including an estimated salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and location.
