Geospatial Systems Analyst

The contractor will leverage industry best practices to enhance the design, execution, and ongoing enhancement of methodologies and tools aimed at managing the Department of Navy's real property assets. This includes a diverse range of properties such as buildings, structures, linear infrastructures, land, utilities, and privatized housing.
The contractor is expected to establish and/or refine performance metrics and standards, alongside measurement and evaluation techniques, ensuring that the Government possesses precise and pertinent information for effective management and oversight of the property inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training sessions for government personnel on the purpose and application of monitoring and oversight tools and methodologies.
- Propose enhancements and ongoing improvements to the management of real property portfolios, including metrics, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Deliver innovative recommendations and insights to government personnel.
- Advise on electronic solutions for data reporting, benchmarking decisions, and institutionalizing lessons learned.
- Identify requirements for information collection and reporting systems for real property inventory monitoring and management, developing database and web-enabled solutions for extensive geographic areas.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in translating geospatial business requirements into comprehensive program and solution architecture recommendations.
Proficiency in defining various solution options for business challenges related to enterprise geospatial system integration is essential.
The ideal candidate will have substantial knowledge and experience in asset management, geospatial standards, and enterprise geographic information systems (GIS).
Experience working with governmental entities, including the Department of Defense or other federal agencies, in the application of geospatial technology is highly valued.
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Geography or a related geoscience field is required, while a Master's degree in the same fields is preferred.
Security Clearance: A Top Secret Clearance is mandatory, and candidates must be U.S. Citizens.
