Job Summary


As a key member of our rehabilitation team, the occupational therapist will provide high-quality care to patients with physical, emotional, or cognitive disabilities. Under the supervision of the Rehab Service Coordinator, the occupational therapist will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to help patients achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities


  • Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement occupational therapy interventions to promote patient independence and functional ability
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies


Requirements


  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Maryland
  • Experience working with patients with physical, emotional, or cognitive disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
