Job Title: Merchandising Manager, Traditional Dealers

About the Role:

JELD-WEN is seeking a skilled Merchandising Manager to drive commercial growth and market execution for our Traditional Dealer and National Building Supply Channel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing and merchandising plans to achieve sales targets and profitability within assigned sales channel.
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify key strategies and develop mutually beneficial programs to achieve both customer and JELD-WEN goals.
  • Work with Product Management team to determine product offering, assortment and pricing recommendations for sales channel.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to create and optimize marketing materials, including sales presentations, product guides, and visual merchandising, for channel partners.
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns, product commercialization, promotions, and incentive programs to drive partner engagement and increase sales performance.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify new opportunities and develop effective marketing strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and communication to internal stakeholders regarding channel marketing initiatives, performance, and upcoming plans.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to channel marketing, and use this knowledge to drive innovation and improve marketing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our products, as well as the needs and preferences of our target consumers and channel partners.
  • Manage customer Product Line Review process.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of channel marketing activities, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field and five (5) to ten (10) years relevant experience in product management required.
  • Strong data mining skills in Excel, strong presentation skills including PowerPoint.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop effective marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with channel partners, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful channel marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity and innovation in developing marketing programs and campaigns that resonate with target audiences and drive results.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Understanding of channel management principles and experience in working with channel partners to drive sales and growth.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to extract insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
