Key Responsibilities: Candidates will be tasked with investigating and collecting data regarding the technical capabilities of production operations systems. Staying updated on software advancements that can enhance existing fabrication and assembly processes is crucial.

This position demands strong communication skills to effectively analyze customer issues, innovate new production processes within the existing framework, coordinate capability solutions for digital transformation in manufacturing, and convey requirements to IT architects. Additionally, candidates will present solutions to core process owners.

The successful candidate will contribute to the successful execution of major projects and may take on a technical project management role. Interaction with senior personnel and management on significant technical issues will often require cross-functional coordination.

Team Collaboration: The Manufacturing Systems Applications Engineer will play a vital role within a cross-organizational team of specialists, supporting the deployment of various production operations capabilities utilizing Siemens Xcelerator and Dassault 3DX tool suites.

Development and Training: Participation in the creation, documentation, training, and rollout of new Production Operations Business Processes related to the implementation of Xcelerator and 3DX tools is expected.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of Design systems (Siemens Xcelerator and Dassault 3DX) and their manufacturing applications.
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) manufacturing applications, including Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM), Process Plan, Condition of Supply, Tooling, Configuration Management, and Workflow processes.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with PLM systems, particularly TeamCenter or 3DX.
  • Familiarity with aeronautical manufacturing systems and processes, with the ability to leverage this knowledge in developing digital manufacturing systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a semi-virtual team.
  • Experience with PLM, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), including their integrations.
