Position Summary
We are in search of a full-time Medical Assistant to become a vital member of our team. Medical Assistants play a crucial role in the DrSnip Care Team, receiving training across various patient-facing functions. This position necessitates strong communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, empathy, and collaborative spirit.
Key Responsibilities
As integral members of the DrSnip Care Team, Medical Assistants collaborate with other professionals to ensure a seamless, straightforward, and superior experience for every patient. The responsibilities of the Medical Assistant include:
- Preparing patients for examinations and procedures with compassion and care.
- Accurately recording health information, including vital signs, before and after procedures.
- Assisting physicians during procedures and providing post-operative care.
- Managing the preparation of supplies and the sterilization of surgical instruments.
- Discussing vasectomy procedures in detail with patients, including information about the male reproductive system.
- Reviewing birth control options with patients and their partners.
- Handling appointment scheduling and providing phone support.
- Explaining the DrSnip Vasectomy process, including surgical risks, potential complications, and aftercare instructions.
- Addressing any inquiries patients may have during their consultations.
Compensation and Benefits
To ensure our patients receive the highest quality care and vasectomy experience, we provide our team with a competitive compensation package that not only meets their basic needs but also motivates them to excel:
- Hourly pay begins at $26/hour, with increases based on experience. We aim to keep our pay rates above market standards.
- 80% of health insurance costs are covered by the employer for the first two years, transitioning to 100% coverage thereafter.

- Monthly cash bonuses based on team performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience; experience in patient-facing roles is advantageous.

Work Environment
- This position is located in our clinic.
