Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and fulfill requests in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Diagnose and repair basic maintenance issues, including electrical, technical, HVAC, and plumbing tasks within guest accommodations.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all furnishings, fixtures, and equipment in guest rooms and suites.
- Regularly inspect plumbing systems for functionality.
- Manage the hotel's lighting requirements.
- Handle painting, patching, and repairing of damaged walls and ceilings.
- Ensure all appliances are functioning properly.
- Adhere to hotel safety protocols and regulations, including fire safety measures.
- Test pool chemicals and maintain cleanliness and organization in the pool area.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED; or one to two years of relevant experience and/or training.
- Familiarity with basic repair and maintenance techniques, including carpentry, grouting, painting, caulking, and reading blueprints.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
