Role: API Tester

As an API Tester at Wipro, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our APIs. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for APIs, ensuring that they meet the required standards and quality metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop test plans and test cases for APIs
  • Execute API testing using various tools and technologies
  • Identify and report defects and issues
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure that APIs are thoroughly tested and accurate
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for APIs
  • Lead the testing efforts of APIs across onsite and offshore teams

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in API testing
  • Experience in testing RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and other web services
  • Good experience in Tosca tool for API testing automation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role is based on labor costs in local markets, as well as the job-related skills, knowledge, and experience of the candidate. The expected base pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. In addition to the base pay, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits and additional compensation offerings.
