Key Responsibilities:
- Alert Purchasing and Sales teams when orders cannot be fulfilled or when stock levels are low.
- Examine the condition and quantity of received goods prior to signing for delivery.
- Accurately place received goods in designated storage locations.
- Label and organize all non-inventory items appropriately.
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits promptly and accurately.
- Verify product details, condition, quantities, and descriptions.
- Complete necessary documentation (e.g., Bills of Lading, Inventory Count Sheets) accurately.
- Input data into computer systems (e.g., MS Excel, MS Access, MS Publisher) with precision.
- Handle the movement of materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Exemplify safety practices and adhere to safety regulations.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in customer interaction and service.
- Strong communication skills with colleagues, suppliers, and clients (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
- Capability to manage diverse types of construction materials.
- A commitment to safety, including the consistent use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Two to three years of relevant experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Familiarity with construction materials.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts.
