Communitas, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our clinical interdisciplinary team, you will provide healthcare services that empower individuals to attain and maintain an optimal level of wellness throughout their lifespan.
Responsibilities- Monitor the health and well-being of individuals supported in the program, providing healthcare services that promote optimal wellness.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the primary care physician, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Ensure daily management of medical needs, communicate with residences, and provide first aid when necessary.
- Provide direct support to individuals as needed, maintaining a compassionate and supportive environment.
- Maintain accurate records, including medication books and member medical files, to ensure program compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with individuals, families, physicians, and service providers.
- A passion for supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass company background and reference checks.
