Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Certified Surgical Technologist II follows established procedural guides in the preparation of sterile supplies and equipment used in surgical procedures. This role performs appropriate room duties involved with direct patient care and functions autonomously as a member of the operating room team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Performs room duties involved with direct patient care
  • Functions autonomously as a member of the operating room team
  • Assists providers and nurses with vaginal deliveries, supply restocking, instrument flow, and front desk customer service
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology or surgical technology military program
  • At least one year of work experience as a Certified Surgical Tech
  • Certified Surgical Technologist credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
