$70,000-$85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Role Overview:

As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for key accounting functions including the preparation of journal entries, management of balance sheet schedules, and account reconciliations. Your contributions will be essential in our monthly closing processes, account evaluations, and the preparation of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the collection, analysis, verification, and reporting of financial data to accurately reflect the company's financial performance and position, facilitating informed financial decisions.

2. Assist in the preparation of forecast requirements, draft annual budgets, and analyze expenditures to generate periodic financial statements and comply with regulatory requirements.

3. Help prepare cash flow statements, treasury cash summaries, and monthly cash flow projections.

4. Collaborate in the preparation of budgets, KPI reports, financial forecasts, and ad-hoc financial reports for executive leadership.

5. Execute general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations for various financial categories including treasury, revenue, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities.

6. Maintain subsidiary ledgers and other financial records.

7. Provide support to the operations department with monthly commission calculations and other financial tasks as needed.

8. Ensure compliance with all deliverables while fostering collaboration and accountability.

9. Assist with finance-related ad-hoc assignments as required.

10. Offer clerical support to the accounting supervisor on an as-needed basis.


Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting is mandatory.

- 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar role.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage growth.

- Proactive mindset and a collaborative team player.

- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles.

- Detail-oriented with a flexible approach.

- Proficient in Excel and spreadsheet formulation.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Big4 or Mid-Tier firms is highly desirable but not essential.

- An MBA in accounting or finance is preferred but not required.

- CPA license is advantageous but not mandatory.
