About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to join our Medical Affairs team at Genmab. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the global medical affairs strategic and tactical plans for our assets. Your expertise in solid tumors and ability to translate commercial and scientific goals into actions will be invaluable in driving our business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead annual medical planning for our assets and work closely with extended medical affairs functions to inform and implement overall medical strategy.
  • Develop and execute engagement strategies with thought leaders, patient advocacy groups, professional societies, and institutions.
  • Plan and execute Early Access Programs and investigator-initiated trials within compliance, quality, timeliness, and budget standards.
  • Contribute to the life cycle management of our assets and drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide medical review and expertise.
  • Coordinate clinical trial activities across medical affairs functions and contribute to effective publication planning.
  • Develop internal guidance and process/resource documents and contribute to regulatory document development.
  • Serve as a medical reviewer and expert on promotional and medical review committees.
Requirements
  • Scientific or medical degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) required.
  • Expertise in clinical landscape of solid tumors required; knowledge of gynecological cancers preferred.
  • 7+ years of medical affairs or clinical development background in oncology.
  • Biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience with a strong understanding of solid tumor drug development and medical affairs functions.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and with tight timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategically, drive performance, build alignment, inform, negotiate, and collaborate across partnerships.
