About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to join our Medical Affairs team at Genmab. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the global medical affairs strategic and tactical plans for our assets. This will involve working closely with our cross-functional partners to inform and implement overall medical strategy for designated products and/or therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead annual medical planning for assets
  • Work closely with extended medical affairs functions to inform and implement overall medical strategy
  • Lead and execute on engagement strategy with thought leaders, patient advocacy groups, professional societies, and institutions
  • Lead the planning and execution of Early Access Programs and investigator-initiated trials
  • Contribute to the life cycle management of assets
  • Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide medical review and expertise
  • Collaborate with medical and clinical operations departments to coordinate clinical trial activities
  • Contribute to effective publication planning and development of internal guidance and process documents
  • Serve as medical reviewer and expert on promotional and medical review committees
Requirements
  • Scientific or medical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) required
  • Expertise in clinical landscape of solid tumors required; knowledge of gynecological cancers preferred
  • 7+ years of medical affairs or clinical development background in oncology
  • Biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience with strong understanding of solid tumor drug development and medical affairs function
  • Ability to work successfully under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategically and drive performance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
