Job Title: Senior System Firmware Engineer

As a key member of our NVLink development team, you will be responsible for driving feature enablement post silicon and firmware/verification infrastructure for our next-generation GPU's, enabling high-performance interconnect of multi-GPU systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive bringup, feature enablement, and debug on GPU systems post silicon.
  • Collaborate with architecture, hardware, and firmware teams on activities related to firmware enablement, design for debug and test (DFx).
  • Triage and resolve firmware issues during customer quals/in the field.
  • Log bugs, track coverage metrics, and perform gap analysis.
  • Work on developing automation tools and infrastructure to improve our firmware development, regressions, and verification process.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS (or equivalent experience) degree in EE/CS or related field.
  • 5+ years of minimum experience in a software verification role.
  • Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
  • Software Development/Verification knowledge is a bonus.
  • Experience with Python/Perl/C/C++.
  • Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessors, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, DMA, etc).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with on-site and remote teams.
