We are expanding our Living in Recovery Community and are in search of an enthusiastic and innovative leader to enhance our volunteer and recruitment initiatives.


As the Volunteer Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming new participants to the Living in Recovery Community, ensuring that the recovery journey is engaging, enriching, and enjoyable.
  • Identifying and encouraging members to assume leadership positions within the community.
  • Providing training for volunteer members regarding the recovery process, available pathways, and types of support.
  • Adjusting your schedule to accommodate community events and programs, including some evening and weekend hours.

This position requires prior experience in supervising and recruiting volunteers or staff, knowledge of the local recovery community, excellent facilitation and presentation abilities, and the personal assurance that comes from being in recovery for at least two years. A preferred qualification is an Associate's degree in a relevant field, and certification as a Recovery Coach is advantageous; however, training will be provided. A valid driver's license and the capability to operate a large passenger van for program activities are also necessary.


Living in Recovery is a part of ServiceNet, which values a healthy work-life balance. In addition to an annual salary ranging from $35,000 to $40,000, ServiceNet offers:
