Position Summary:

We are in search of a skilled Electronics Technician with practical experience in assembling electronic devices, constructing cables, troubleshooting low voltage systems, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate will possess a meticulous attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a strong capacity to interpret complex technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure electronic systems and devices in accordance with technical specifications.
  • Precisely assemble and connect system components, including cables.
  • Develop prototype models based on technical directives and project specifications.
  • Track project advancements and deliver regular updates on status and performance.
  • Evaluate system functionality and analyze data to troubleshoot and rectify issues.
  • Address malfunctions in circuitry and other system components as required.
  • Interpret and understand intricate manuals, diagrams, and technical documents.
  • Maintain accurate reports and manage inventory of parts and equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other professionals on technical projects.
  • Utilize various hand and power tools effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Electronics Technician or in a comparable role.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools for electronics assembly and repair.
  • Strong grasp of electronic components, circuits, and systems.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and follow complex technical manuals and instructions.
  • Good manual dexterity and precision in work.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training are advantageous.

Additional Requirements:

  • Physical Requirements: Must be capable of sitting and standing for extended periods, lifting up to 75 lbs., operating basic power tools independently, and installing low voltage electrical equipment comfortably.
  • Schedule: This is a non-exempt, hourly position with an expectation of 40 hours per week; additional hours may be required based on business needs.
  • Travel: Occasional travel may be necessary, with an anticipated travel rate of up to 15% based on business development requirements.
