As an Electronic Systems Specialist with the Army National Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining the complex electronic systems that power the military's arsenal of weapons.

From handguns to ballistic missiles, you will work with a wide range of equipment, ensuring that they are functioning properly and efficiently.

Through your training, you will develop the skills and knowledge to excel in a civilian career as an electronic mechanic, avionics technician, or missile facilities repairer.

With the Army National Guard, you will have the opportunity to learn these valuable skills while earning a regular paycheck and qualifying for tuition assistance.

Job training for this position consists of 10 weeks of Basic Training and 7 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, which includes both classroom and field work.

Paid training and education benefits are available, including the Montgomery GI Bill and retirement benefits for part-time service.

Requirements for this position include being at least a junior in high school, having a high school diploma or GED certificate, and passing a physical exam and meeting legal and moral standards.

Additionally, you must be between the ages of 17 and 35 to be eligible for this position.
