We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse RN Psychiatric Adult to join our team at Research Psychiatric Center. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals struggling with emotional, behavioral, or mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Participate in treatment team conferences to review patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and self-care strategies.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of practice RN licensure required within 90 days of graduation or active license.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
- Previous clinical experience preferred, with a minimum of one year in inpatient psychiatric care.
