Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at The Superior Group. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for interpreting drawings, reading specifications, and performing takeoffs for electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and understand contract drawings and project specifications
  • Produce quantity takeoffs of electrical systems, including lighting fixtures, lighting controls, and fire alarm devices
  • Assist in vendor management and QA estimates
  • Coordinate and support internal teams to ensure alignment of scope
  • Visit construction job sites to assist with field investigations, drawing verification, and understanding practical field installation requirements
  • Work closely with the project management team on change order pricing
Requirements
  • 1-5+ years of experience in the construction industry
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (bonus points)
  • Experience in electrical construction (bonus points)
  • Experience using Accubid and/or Bluebeam (bonus points)
