Retail Checkout Associates play an essential role in delivering exceptional customer service by ensuring a swift, courteous, precise, and secure checkout experience. They handle both Checkout and Return transactions, while also overseeing and maintaining the Self-Checkout section. These associates actively pursue product knowledge to assist customers effectively and identify sales opportunities. They adhere to all policies and procedures to minimize inventory loss.

A Senior Checkout Associate will coordinate the activities of Checkout Associates and aid them by facilitating price checks, authorizing Point of Sale transactions, and managing markdowns for various service areas.

They serve as the first point of escalation for customer concerns and contribute to the supervision, coaching, and training of other Front End Associates by engaging in the onboarding of new Checkout Associates and utilizing available resources to mentor and develop their peers.

The ideal candidate for a Senior Checkout Associate position should possess at least 1 year of experience in a cashier role.

Specific Retail Checkout positions may include :
Checkout Associate - $18.00
Senior Checkout Associate - $19.00
Pro Checkout Associate - $18.00

Vacation Eligibility
Salaried employees are entitled to 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; full-time hourly employees will be eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; part-time employees will be eligible for 20 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; temporary employees are not eligible for vacation benefits.


Sick Leave Policy
Employees will earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked; full-time employees will earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater; part-time employees will earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked or 2 hours per month, whichever is greater.
