Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a Infusion Medication Specialist in our dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for coordinating the care of infusion patients and administering medications under the guidance of licensed physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with primary care physicians, specialists, pharmacies, and caregivers to coordinate patient care.
  • Prepare and administer infusion medications according to established protocols and procedures.
  • Monitor laboratory levels and patient response to medications.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on medication use, side effects, and treatment plans.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Experience: Three (3) years of clinical experience in infusion, oncology, and/or chemotherapy.
  • Certification(s): State of Alaska Registered Nurse, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Oncology Certified Nurse (ONS) Chemotherapy Certificate within 3 months of hire.
Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is $90,000 - $115,000, based on qualifications and experience.
