Job Summary

QAPEL MEDICAL INC is seeking a highly skilled Assembly Technician III to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling medical devices, specifically neurovascular catheters, and ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Quality Control: Assemble neurovascular catheters and perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Manufacturing Support: Provide direct support to the production team, ensuring efficient and timely production line needs are met.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and legible records of production activities.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the manufacturing team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Investigations and Testing: Assist in investigations and testing for new or revised production procedures.
  • Adherence to Procedures: Adhere to approved standard operating procedures and manufacturing procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High School degree
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of assembling catheter manufacturing experience required
  • Skills: Excellent manual dexterity and visual acuity required; professional and respectful communication skills (both written and verbal) are required.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work independently or in a team setting; organized, self-motivated, displaying a proactive approach and positive demeanor.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrates the ability to understand the catheter assembly processes fully; exhibits flexibility and adaptability to changing processes business needs, or assembly flows to maintain a positive attitude.
  • Regulated Industry Experience: Experience working in a regulated industry (medical device development experience preferred along with a solid working knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations and ISO)
  • Controlled Environment Room Experience: Experience working in a controlled environment room (CER)
  • Attention to Detail: Skilled and able to maintain focus on repetitive tasks while following precise instructions
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge and exposure to applicable regulations (QSR, MDD, CMDR, and ISO)

Compensation

The base compensation range for this full-time position is between $29.00/hr to $30.00/hr + equity + benefits.
