Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform regular preventive maintenance on various types of production equipment, including valves, electric motors, pumps, gear boxes, and vehicles.
- Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear; replace defective parts and reassemble equipment.
- Perform repairs and fabrication of piping systems utilizing MIG, ARC, and TIG welding techniques.
- Assist with the installation and troubleshooting of PLC controlled automated systems.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
- High school diploma/GED
- Associate's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in operating processing plant environment, such as food processing, chemical processing, or pharmaceutical
- 2+ years of forklift experience preferred
- 2+ years of experience/training in making repairs on typical chemical processing equipment
The estimated salary for this position is $23.48 an hour. We offer an attractive benefits package, including comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance.
