Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Darigold is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Mechanic to join our Sunnyside team. The ideal candidate will possess the desire and ability to maintain and repair all plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair plant machinery and assist with special projects, including fabrication and sanitary welding.
  • Proven experience in sanitary welding, stainless steel fabrication and welding, and maintaining and repairing rotating machinery.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical motors and controls, working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and boilers, and experience in troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong understanding and experience of preventive maintenance, ability to interpret P&ID, mechanical, and electrical drawings, and demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and maintain equipment and records.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS systems and work orders, ability to manage multiple priorities, excellent communication skills, and strong team player.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years manufacturing maintenance or related experience.
  • Formal education in a related field preferred.
