Low Level Embedded C Engineer

About Job: The Low-Level Embedded C Engineer will be part of the client's team at ApTask, contributing to their innovative use of technologies like RPA, machine learning, NLP, and blockchain. As a key member of the team, this engineer will oversee the entire team's deliverables and quality of work, ensuring seamless integration with hardware and software components.
Responsibilities:The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in low-level embedded C firmware development, as well as experience working with various hardware platforms. Key responsibilities include:
- Oversight of entire team's deliverables and quality of work
- Resource assignment and work scheduling
- Reporting two weeks ahead for any team member taking vacation or annual leave
- Arranging coverage to prevent business disruption
- New team member screening, onboarding, training, and regular checking
- Initial triage for external or internal escalations
- Issue monitoring and weekly summary reporting
- Feedback collection from leaders and cross-functional teams
- Fulfilling resource gaps during team members' absences
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of engineering experience
- 2-5 years of program management experience
- BS in Computer Engineering or relevant work experience
- Experience in low-level embedded C firmware development and hardware interaction
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
Salary Range: $122,500-$127,500/Annum
